In 2008, Michael Townsend Wright starred as the one-and-only Eddie Foy – a role written for him – in a new production of The Seven Little Foys, a lively, original musical by Chip Deffaa. Eddie Foy was a famous vaudevillian and a star on Broadway who took all seven of his talented children into show business with him. As the legendary song-and-dance man, Michael performed in 42 out of the 46 musical numbers and received wonderful reviews.
