Performing since the age of four, Michael Townsend Wright, also known as "The Cliffwood Crooner," is a born showman. Whether as an actor, a singer, a comedian, the host of his own radio program, or a master of ceremonies, there has never been a time when Michael didn't have a performance coming up. A regular cast member of New Jersey's The Uncle Floyd Show, Michael is a master of comic timing. He is well known for his impressions of Bob Hope and Jack Benny. With a genuine love for old-time show biz, Michael had befriended many of the stars of yesteryear who have since passed on, such as Rudy Vallee, Arthur Tracy and Imogene Coca. His friendship with comic legend Joey Faye led to performances as his scene partner, with the old master passing on his secrets to the younger generation. Mr. Wright was also the comic partner of the late Joe Smith of the comedy team Smith & Dale (the inspiration for The Sunshine Boys).

In films, Michael has worked with Richard Dreyfus, Vinny Pastore and Talia Shire. Michael was cast as Walter Winchell in the HBO film, The Rat Pack. He played the title role in the acclaimed independent feature The Life And Times of Charlie Putz. Recently, Michael was seen in the popular TV series Rescue Me. He was the voice of the father in the Nickelodeon cartoon Zoey's Zoo and appears in the "County Fair" episode of the Nickelodeon series Naked Brothers Band.
